During watermain closure, affected homes and buildings will continue to have access to water by connecting a by-pass watermain, including installation for temporary hydrants. If the by-pass watermain affects vehicular or pedestrian access, we will install protective measures such as temporary ramps.
Our bypass watermain materials comply with NSF/ANSI 61 requirements.

We are a trenchless contractor, however, we perform our own excavation and backfill for our pits where work is required. We install shoring to access our pits per O. Reg. 213/91.
The limited amount of pits will provide minimal disruption to users of the municipal roads and a reduced cost for restoration works.

We clean corrosion and mineral deposits from the watermain to provide a proper substrate, followed by applying a thin coat of cement to protect the watermain. Click the button below for more information.

We locally replace valves and hydrants within our work area, connecting back to the watermain.

We can perform video camera inspections before and/or after cleaning, and after lining to review the condition of the watermain.

We install cathodic protection on new and existing exposed watermain materials to mitigate corrosion.
